Dr. Linda Huber is the founder of Cedar Tree Clinic in Franklin, TN. She is a licensed clinical psychologist and Nationally Certified School Psychologist. Dr. Huber earned her doctorate in School Psychology from Northern Illinois University in DeKalb IL, (accredited by the American Psychological Association and approved by the Association of State and Provincial Boards and the National Register or Health Service Providers in Psychology). She participated in the APPIC match and completed her internship through the Illinois School Psychology Internship Consortium (ISPIC) and her post-doctoral work through The School Association for Special Education in DuPage County (SASED). In her professional training program, which valued the scientist-practitioner model, she conducted extensive research in the area of adolescent anxiety and received clinical trainings that focused on assessment and evidenced-based treatments for a wide range of emotional, behavioral, academic, and psychological issues. Within her internship and post-doctoral programs, she worked with multi-disciplinary teams to support individuals (ages 6 through 22 years old) with complex issues and provided therapeutic interventions and comprehensive psychoeducational/psychological evaluations for clinical populations (autism, ADHD, emotional disorders, psychiatric disorders, learning disabilities, multiple disabilities [hearing impairment, visual impairment, etc.]). In addition to her formal graduate, internship, and post-doctoral work, she has earned specialized training in the assessment and treatment of autism as well as the Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA) profile on the autism spectrum. Dr. Huber also has an adult autistic daughter and has worked professionally in the field of autism for over 15 years, in both school, community, and clinical settings. In her clinic, Dr. Huber specializes in neurodevelopmental issues (e.g., ADHD, learning disabilities [dyslexia, dyscalculia, dysgraphia], autism) and related issues (e.g., anxiety, depression) and conducts comprehensive psychological evaluations for ages 6 through adults. She provides individual therapy (clients ages 12 & up), parent consultation, and educational consultation. She is passionate about supporting her clients and providing a safe space where they feel valued and seen.
